At the origin of this pursuit of excellence is Mounia, founder of 1001 Candles, with over 15 years of experience in the world of beauty and fragrance. Through her collaborations with prestigious houses, she refined her understanding of the alchemy of materials, leading to a key conviction: artisanal candles deserve the same level of excellence as haute perfumery fragrances. Guided by this vision, she trained under a renowned French Master Candle Maker, a discreet artisan behind some of the most iconic candles of the past decade. In this workshop, every detail matters: pure vegetable waxes (soy, coconut, rapeseed), natural cotton wicks, meticulously composed fragrances, and containers handcrafted by local artisans. Today, this heritage comes to life through creations where precision and sensitivity meet.

Far from standardized manufacturing, each piece is poured, centered, inspected, and finished by hand in our workshop. Founded by Mounia Benyakhlef, the brand is also committed to empowering women through craftsmanship, turning the workshop into a true space for training and professional integration.
